Poptin is a handy platform for creating pop-ups and forms that can be overlaid in your EKM online shop, encouraging customers to interact with your content and increasing conversions. In this guide, you’ll learn how to install Poptin code on your EKM online shop so you can use Poptin immediately with a free account. 

1. From the Dashboard, click Features:

2. Click Feature Library:

3. Scroll down to the Marketing features and click View More on the right-hand side:

4. Click the Poptin icon:

5. Click the green button in the bottom right-hand corner:

Installing Poptin code on your EKM online shop

7. When you have populated your information on your Poptin account, your next step is to install the code on your EKM online shop. To do this, click the symbol in the bottom left-hand corner of the dashboard:

8. You’ll then see this modal appear:

9. In the browser tab displaying your EKM online shop, click Design:

10. Click More Actions in the bottom left-hand corner, and from the drop-down menu, select Inject Custom Code:

11. Return to the browser tab displaying Poptin, and click Copy on the right-hand side of the modal:

12. Return to the browser tab displaying your EKM online shop and paste this code in the HTML code field:

13. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the green Save button in the bottom right-hand corner:

14. The steps above ensure you can display Poptin pop-ups on any page within your EKM online shop, apart from the Checkout Flow. If you wish to create pop-ups in the future that display on the Checkout Flow, click Features:

15. Open the Google Tools feature:

16. Within the feature, scroll down to the Google Analytics Tracking Code field and paste your Poptin code beneath any existing code. Then you need to click Save in the bottom right-hand corner:

17. Return to the browser tab displaying Poptin, and close down the modal by clicking the X in the top right-hand corner:
