[intro]In this Guide, you’ll learn how to use the Bulk Editor within the Inventory Manager, ideal for when you have multiple items with details that need amending. [/intro]

[remember]Before you begin this Guide, you must ensure you have installed the Inventory Manager feature on your EKM online shop. [/remember]

Locating the Inventory Manager

1. From the Dashboard, click the Features tab:

2. Within Installed Features, click on the Inventory Manager icon to open it:

Searching for Products

3. The Inventory Manager always displays the Bulk Editor view by default. On this page, you’ll see all the products listed on your EKM online shop: 

4. You also have a search field you can use to locate specific products and a Categories button with a drop-down menu to allow you to display the contents of a specific Category quickly:

Using Filters

5. If you click the Filter & Sort button:

6. This will reveal a vertical menu, where you can select several different filters and drill down to display a particular group of products. Click the green Apply button when you have selected the relevant filters:

  • Sort By - Use the drop-down options here to choose how you would like the products to display.
  • Status - Choose between Live and Hidden products.
  • Price - Use the provided fields to select products priced between the given values.
  • Special Offer? - If you have created several Featured Products on your EKM online shop, you can tick the relevant box to decide whether you want to view products on special offer or products excluded from it.
  • Bulk Discount - here, you can tick the relevant box to filter items included in Bulk Discounts.
  • Has Variants - Search for single items or products with variants, such as colour, pattern, or size.

When you have filtered your products down to display the items you would like to amend the stock of, you can then amend the columns to display the different details for each product. 

Manage Columns

7. If you click the Manage Columns button on the right-hand side:

8. You can dictate the information that displays for each of your products by ticking the relevant boxes on the right-hand side menu, before clicking the green Apply button on the bottom right-hand side to save your changes:

9. Now you can begin the process of editing one or more products manually:

Stock

To edit the stock amount of a specific item, tick the relevant box, click the current stock figure and use the up/down arrows to select a new figure, before clicking the green Save button in the top right-hand corner:

Hiding Products

To hide or display a specific item, tick the relevant box, then click the button on the top right-hand side:

Featured Products

To make a specific item into a special offer/Featured Product, tick the box for the relevant item and then click the three dots button in the top right-hand corner, or alternatively, click the grey switch:

Price

To edit the price of a specific item, tick the relevant box, click the current price and use the up/down arrows to select a new figure, before clicking the green Save button in the top right-hand corner:

Cost Price

To edit the Cost Price of a specific item, tick the relevant box, click the current figure and use the up/down arrows to select a new figure, before clicking the green Save button in the top right-hand corner:
