2. Within Installed Features, click on the Inventory Manager icon to open it:

3. In the top right-hand corner, click Add Category:

4. Give your Category a name and a Description using the fields provided, before clicking the Category Management tab on the left-hand side:

Making a Main Category

5. Now you need to decide how you want your new Category to display. 'Home' indicates this Category will be displayed via the menu on the homepage as a main Category. If you would like your new Category to be a main Category, click the Save & Close button:

[tips]If you’re not sure whether you want to make your new Category a Subcategory or a main Category, you need to plan out your navigation.[/tips]

Making a Subcategory

6. However, if you would like your new Category to be a Subcategory - a Category which displays within an existing main Category - click the Change button on the right-hand side:

7. From the list of existing Categories on your EKM online shop, you need to select the main Category you would like your new Subcategory to display within. Click through the list and remember to click the green cross symbol to open any existing main Categories to view the Subcategories within them. When you have located it, click the name of the Category to highlight it:

8. If you want this Category to display in any other Main Categories on your EKM online shop, repeat the process in the Additional Categories element, before clicking Save & Close in the bottom right-hand corner:
