1. Now that you have installed the code on your EKM online shop, your next step is to configure your Google Tags to pass data to GA4. Return to the browser tab displaying Google Tag Manager, and click Add New Tag:
2. Give this new Tag a name by clicking in the top left-hand corner and replacing the text, and then click the Edit symbol in the top right-hand corner of the Tag Configuration element:
3. In the menu that appears on the right-hand side, click Google Tag:
4. Return to the browser tab displaying your GA4 account and click the cog symbol in the bottom left-hand corner:
5. Click Data Streams:
6. Click the name of your EKM online shop:
7. Click the copy symbol to copy your Measurement ID:
8. Return to the browser tab displaying Google Tag Manager and paste the Tag ID in the field provided, and click Save:
9. Click Add A New Tag:
10. Give this new Tag a name by clicking in the top left-hand corner and replacing the text, and then click the Edit symbol in the top right-hand corner of the Tag Configuration element:
11. In the menu that appears on the right-hand side, click Google Analytics:
12. Click Google Analytics: GA4 Event:
13. You’ll then see this menu:
14. Return to the browser tab displaying your Google Analytics account and click the cog symbol in the bottom left-hand corner:
15. Click Data Streams:
16. Then click the name of your EKM online shop:
17. This will reveal your Measurement ID. Click the symbol to copy this, and then return to the browser tab displaying Google Tag Manager:
18. Paste the Measurement ID into the field provided, and then scroll down and click the Edit symbol on the right-hand side:
19. Now you need to click All Pages:
20. Click the Event Name symbol:
21. Click Event:
22. Click More Settings:
23. Tick the box to Send Ecommerce Data and click Save in the top right-hand corner:
24. Returning to your Tag Manager dashboard, you now need to click Submit in the top right-hand corner:
25. Add a name and a description to the fields provided, and click Publish in the top right-hand corner:
