[intro] Before beginning this Guide, you must create a Facebook Page. After finishing this Guide, you will have successfully configured the Facebook Pixel feature on your EKM online shop.[/intro]

Similar to the Google Tools feature, Facebook Pixel allows you to embed Facebook Pixel code onto your EKM online shop to monitor your visitor data and enable you to ascertain the success of your Facebook Advertising campaigns. It can help by:

• Ensuring that your Facebook Ads are shown to people within your target demographic;
• Driving more sales to your EKM online shop;
• Accurately report the results of your Facebook Ads, allowing you to drill down and target the right people with your advertising campaigns. 

When set up, the Facebook Pixel will trigger when someone makes an action on your EKM online shop, such as adding items to the cart or making purchases. The Pixel records these as 'events', which you can view within your Facebook Business Manager account. You'll be able to see who interacted the most with your content and be able to tailor future promotions and advertising to suit your target demographic perfectly.

Installing the Feature

1. From the Dashboard, click Features on the left-hand side menu:

2. Click the Feature Library tab:

3. Scroll down to the Made By EKM features and click the View More button on the right-hand side:

4. Click the Facebook Pixel icon:

5. Click the green Install Feature button:

6. You will then see these fields:

7. Your next step is to open a new tab on your browser, log into your Facebook Account and ensure that you’re using Facebook as your Facebook Page. Click Meta Business Suite:

8. Click All Tools on the left-hand menu:

9. In the menu that appears, click Events Manager:

10. On this page, you need to copy the Pixel ID code displayed in the top right-hand corner:

11. Return to the browser tab displaying your EKM online shop, and paste the Pixel ID into the field provided before clicking the green Save button in the bottom right-hand corner:

12. The Facebook Pixel on your EKM online shop is now set up and will automatically track the following events:

• Purchase
• Complete Registrations
• Add Payment Info
• Add To Cart
• Initiate Checkout
• View Content.
