The File Manager on your EKM online shop is where all of the images for your products are located. You need to use the File Manager to upload Design Images and banners, and if you are adding lots of products all at once using the Import/Export System, you can bulk upload your Product Images to the File Manager, too.
Where to find the File Manager
1. You can find the File Manager by logging into your EKM online shop and clicking Design on the left-hand side:
2. You then need to click File Manager on the red navigation bar:
3. The File Manager always loads on the Product & Category Images tab by default:
4. The images you can see listed are used as product images in my test shop. You can search for images if you know their file names by using the search field on the right-hand side. Click the Design Images tab:
5. This will display any design images uploaded to your EKM online shop. Typically, you will find your logo here, custom Promo Stickers and any banners you have uploaded. Click the Style Sheets tab:
6. This is where you can upload Style Sheets by clicking within the Drag & Drop box. Click the Favicon tab:
7. This is where you would upload the .ico file required to add a Favicon to your EKM online shop. Click the Other File tab:
8. This will reveal where you can upload files that customers can download, which is ideal if any of your Products have supporting documentation, such as Health & Safety information. You can upload txt, pdf, js, doc, docx, xml, htc and mp3 files to this area:
How to Upload Files
The process is the same regardless of which tab you upload files to. You can either click on the Drag & Drop box and select the file from your computer that way:
Alternatively, you can drag the files from a folder on your computer into the File Manager:
Discovering the Address of your File
If you are hyperlinking a .pdf file so some text on your EKM online shop, or you are adding lots of new Products via a spreadsheet and the Import/Export System, you’ll need to know the address of your file.
To find the file address, simply hover over it to see it revealed. You can then right-click the file to copy the address, which can then be hyperlinked to some text or pasted into the relevant part of your spreadsheet:
Deleting Single Files
To remove a single file from the File Manager, simply click the red dustbin symbol:
Deleting Multiple Files
To remove multiple files from the File Manager, you need to tick the box on each file you want to delete before clicking the Delete Selected Images button on the bottom left:

Remove All Images
1. Ensure the Product & Category Images tab is highlighted on the top left-hand side, and then scroll down to the Delete buttons. You can select either Delete Selected Images or Remove All Images:

Frequently Asked Questions
Will deleting images from the File Manager delete the pictures from my products?
No. It will delete the Product and Category Images stored in the File Manager. To clarify, when uploaded to your EKM online shop from the Add/Edit Product window via spreadsheet and the Import/Export System feature or using the eBay Import/Export feature, your Product and Category Images feature are duplicated, renamed, and stored in a dedicated folder.
The images listed against your products will remain in place unless you delete that individual product, rename the product (in which case the image file will be replaced with a new version that matches the new Product Name) or replace the Product Images manually for that specific product. This is to avoid situations where product and category images are deleted in error.
Can I download all of the images before I delete them?
If you wish to download all of the product and category images from the File Manager, you must contact the Customer Support Team and request an Image Download.
